DigiFestival.net – international online film and video festival V edition
The first Festival dedicated to all Art in streaming video.

The purpose of the Festival is to extend, through the web video technology, the reach, popularity and diffusion of International Artistic Productions.
There will be no selection to participate to the festival and all participants will gain access to the final evaluation and prizes. *
All artists and companies from all Categories can participate with their productions and works realized and/or documented in video.
The submitted works, no longer than 20 (twenty) minutes, will be divided into art Categories. The selection of the Art Category will be directly decided by artist discretion and the Festival will put no limitations to Artists choices. The list of participating Artists will be published in the relative Category section in alphabetical order.
All artists will have a personal web page on the DigiFestival.net Network that relates the artist’s selected Category.
The submitted videos will be encoded in Windows Media technology and published on the Internet on the DigiFestival.net Network in two qualities in order to be available and be viewed by all kind of audience with Internet or mobile connections.
The video works will all be published on the DigiFestival.net Network on the Festival beginning date and time and will remain available on the network unless the artist or the DF staff decides to remove them.
The Festival will award an Absolute Prize and a Prize for any artists’ Category.
Prizes awarded to artist for any art Category are to be given by the DigiFestival.net Festival Jury.
The work to win the prize for Absolute DigiFestival.Net Audience Rating Winner will be given by Audience Rating.
The jury will be formed by members of the designed Category together with the DigiFestival.Net Editors.
Festival entry and publication fee: € 10,00 or US$ 15,00.
The festival will close and award prizes during the Festival Final Event.

Artist and artist’s work publication
All Artists will have a personal web page containing:
• Biography
• Link to personal website and e-mail
• News field and all the features included in the DigiChannel.net network
• The personal web page will also contain the links to select the video quality and to gain access to the video page
The video page will contain:
• The send video to a friend feature
• Additional information related to the work where supported
Video quality encoding and publication date
The videos (20 minutes maximum length) will be encoded and published in the following qualities:
• Standard Resolution – 300kb to 500kb video encoding, max resolution 400x320 pix
• Full Resolution – 1000kb video encoding, max resolution 900x720 pix
The videos will be published and made available for viewing and voting on the DigiFestival.net site at 00:00 GMT time on August 15th 2009 the Festival beginning date and will remain available on the DC and DF sites from this date. The audience voting and the online festival will close on September 15th at 00:00GMT. Winners will be contacted directly by the festival staff. Festival regulations are subject to changes by the DF staff at any time.

*(limitations will apply for works containing public and racial offences and pornographic or extremely explicit content and for works whose quality is judged not sufficiently good for the festival quality standards by the DF Staff and Jury).
