Artist BIO
From their early Pop stardom as Beathoven in Australia (best new group 1978) to their current incarnation as ageing hippies with a weekly wage, The Innocents continue to be true to their Pop roots..writing 3 minute songs with soaring melodies, infectious hooks and epic stories inside stories. Influenced by The Easybeats, Daddy Cool, Badfinger Dylan, the Squeeze and AC/DC (who they toured with on the Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap tour all those years ago-1979)....Beatlesque sensibilities, Eric Carmen Rock operatic vocals and tunes you can whistle if your lips are wet.
