Since 2001, Daze of Dawn have been stunning audiences in concert halls
across Spain. Receiving steady airplay, the band have recorded and
produced 3 albums, played in 2 of the country´s 3 largest rock
festivals, and have appeared and performed on many national radio and
TV programs.
With Canadian singer Klyde's driving vocals, Paul and Jake's 70's/90's
distortion guitars delivering explosive rhythms and funky baselines,
Gonzo anchors it all with his "animalistic" drumming.
Daze of Dawn hits you like a raging tsunami, only to soothe you like
your mother's milk. Based in Spain, DOD is a heavy/alt-rock band with
a unique yet distinctly "North American" sound - making them one of
the hottest exports in the country.
The latest album DRUG TESTING - released on their new label:
CLAMRECORDS was recorded live in only 3 days at RPM studios in
Valencia, Spain. Mixed and produced by Claude Robillard, and mastered
by Michael Fossenkemper at Turtle Tone Studios, NY USA, this 15 song
album features the ear-melting-harmonica-attack single KILLING GROUND
and includes tracks (TOP JIMI) with THE TOASTERS (NY, USA) and
(FALSEHOOD) with the Spanish rock band UZZHUAIA, as well as the first
ever DOD cover song on an album- ANOTHER BRICK IN THE WALL (Pink
Floyd).
Their first studio release: " Puppet Heads" (K-Industries - Barcelona,
Spain - Fall 2003) is a truly inspired project with inarguable quality
and timeless appeal. Receiving rave reviews in the national press,
Puppet Heads also secured the band a live performance on national
spanish television (TVE2 - Los Conciertos de Radio 3 - Dec. 2003),
acoustic spots and band interviews on Spain´s hottest international
rock show (Bienvenido a Paraiso with Carlos Pina), and got them
invited to play VINAROCK 2004 - Spain´s largest national rock
festival. Recorded at RPM in Valencia Spain, mixed by Claude and the
D.O.D. boys themselves, and mastered in the United States at DRT
Mastering, "Puppet Heads" ...

really like: Neil Young, Led Zeppelin, Pearl Jam, The Beatles,
Incubus, Blues Traveler, The Tragically Hip, Soundgarden, Korn, Ben
Harper, Audioslave, The Black Crowes, Tenacious D, etc...
