Artist BIO
Bohagey Bowes began as music and has blossomed into video since debuting last July with TOURIST ON THE RUN, a nine-song CD written around the question, "What planet can I live on?"
Driven by keyboards, guitars, loops and voices, with layered melodies and sensual saxophones and harmonicas, BOHAGEY BOWES blends both the old and the new to create a sound that's at once familiar yet lucky strike fresh at the same time.
Musician/Director Brian Hallas decided that video was the best way to let the world know about Bohagey Bowes and created a video for the song This Isn’t It, the opening tune on the album, and posted it on YouTube where it’s maintained a 4.5-star rating in its first month available. A galloping mosaic mystery tour with public domain footage and the view from the F Train in Brooklyn, This Isn’t It poses the question, “What planet can I live on?” The video was the eighth most popular video entered in DigiFestival 2006.
