NEWS
Flash Banner Contest Winner was inspired by a poem that deals a great deal with artifice. I created a life-size artificial version of the poet and animated the "paper-robot" version of him reciting the poem.

Production Notes
"Ughhhh..."
Each frame of the face contains 3 cut out pieces of paper printed out from a video of the poet reading the poem. I would cut out the eyes and mouths digitally and then print them, one at a time, then I would tare each eye or mouth out from the paper individually. There were literally thousands, enough to cover my entire basement floor. One night after printing and cutting about 500 eyes and mouths I dropped the tray... 500 eyes and mouths floated down the stairs... start over again.
