Patrice Fivat is a snowboarder since 1987! He is riding for Swoard Snowboards since 2002. Though he is freeriding a lot (with soft boot), he particularly loves alpine snowboarding (with hard boots), a marginal sports that can give incredible feelings on the pistes. With his friend Jacques Rilliet, a famous snowboard shaper, he has invented and developed the extremecarving technique, in conjunction with a special wide alpine snowboard (the SWOARD Extremecarver). Patrice and Jacques manage to LINK fully laid turns, armpit to armpit (see www.extremecarving.com). Amazing! They are a source of inspiration for many riders in the snowboard community! Their passion pushes them to promote alpine snowboarding and extremecarving, focusing on fluidity and gesture purity!. Patrice has also another job as physicist, while Jacques is an electronic engineer.
