Director, Producer
Fabien Hameline is a young film-maker. He has done a Bachelor of Art in movie making, at the prestigious French university La Sorbonne ( Paris III). While he was studying cinema, he wrote several projects that he directed. Many of those were the fruit of a collaboration with his twin brother, Sebastien Hameline. Fabien's films were selected and screened at several national and international film festivals ( Festival Prototype Video, Paris France ; L'inconnu Festival, France). His work includes several short fictions, music video clips, experimental and conceptual projects, and commercials. Since he relocated in the USA in 2005, he worked as an on-set assistant director. He worked with such famous producer/director as Philippe Diaz (Mauvais Sang, Outfoxed, Uncovered War In Irak) , as well as on the last Roger Corman's Supergator, and other indie projects. Fabien's cinema wants to be universal. Fabien wants to make films were different people with different interests in cinema go to see the same film. He is currently working on his next fiction short, and as well in the process of writing his first feature film.

Director Statement
First of all, we all have a different perception of sound and music. If I say the word "house", we are all going to visualize a house in our mind. But it will be a different house for everyone. Same for "cat", or "tree". "A Bodyless Head's Walk On The Stars" is my perception of the song "Pudpots" by the great Nightmare On Wax. An experimental video for an experimental band.
Secondly, I am personnaly very fond of cinema, from every period, and every kind. From the German expressionism of the 1920's to the neo realism of the italian cinema of the 1950's, through classic hollywoodian cinema, Hitchcock, to nowadays blockbuster. But, with this film, I am showing we don't always need to follow classical rules of filmmaking to tell a story. "A Bodyless Head's Walk On The Stars" tells the story of an Aztec head, who fron an interior undisclosed location, managed to see a fantastic outside world. Our world. Story telling is all about our own vision of things, and the images that are formed in our mind.
