 Artist BIO
Sookyoung choi studied graphic design and illustration as an undergraduate and worked in the animation industry for many years as an art director producing many TV shows and theatrical and video pieces in Seoul, Korea. After moving to New York, based on her long time 2D animation and visual works experience, in order to gain more knowledge and experiment with CG art, she studied in the School of Visual Arts, MFA Computer Art program, New York and created her first 3D animation, “The Space Burger”

VIDEO SYNOPSYS
This story starts with a small spaceship flying to a planet which looks like a hamburger. After entering to the burger shop, the space man faces weird, horrific but comic situations by monsters attacking him and he turns to the same monster killing him. And then, it is circulating…
I concocted the hamburger planet, looking charming but weird with horror mood, and tried to put my sense of America into it and created the spaceman as my main character. He is eager to find his new wonderland, but he turns to the same monster killing him.
